InfraRed NF, the leading Greater China real estate investment manager, is delighted to announce that it has been named ‘Real Estate Debt Fund Manager of the Year, Asia-Pacific’ at the Private Debt Investor Annual Awards 2019.

As at December 31st 2019, InfraRed NF actively managed a loan security portfolio of around US$3 billion in gross development value across seven cities in Greater China. In 2019, the platform transacted approximately US$260 million of structured financings secured across five predominantly residential development projects and a mature office asset.

To date, InfraRed NF has completed 11 credit investments of approximately US$700 million of capital in Greater China, eight of which have been exited.

Grant Chien, Head of Special Situations Financing of InfraRed NF, said, “This award validates our leadership position in structuring private credit, focusing on higher barrier-to-entry transactions which require comprehensive property-level underwriting and on the ground asset management expertise.”

Stuart Jackson, Chief Executive Officer of InfraRed NF, added, “Long-term deleveraging coupled with recent market volatility creates an attractive investment environment for private credit in China. We are delighted to be recognised by PDI with this award which recognises a track record built on careful selection of creditworthy business partners, meticulous assessment of the underlying collateral and robust risk management systems.”
