Werner von Guionneau
Werner joined Charterhouse Bank in 1995. He is the Chief Executive Officer of InfraRed Capital Partners. He is focused on developing strategy and driving the evolution and growth of the business, and has been closely involved in selecting and monitoring real estate investments for over 30 years. Werner is a member of the Investment Committee, a position that he has also assumed for each of Fund I and Fund II.
Prior to his time at Charterhouse Bank, Werner held roles in property investment, corporate finance and private equity in the USA and Germany. At Charterhouse Bank, as Joint Chief Executive, Werner, together with several of the current senior InfraRed Capital Partners professionals, restructured the bank into a private equity investment business focusing on real estate and infrastructure. Werner led the business during its years within the HSBC Group and, in 2011, was principally responsible for its spin-out to form InfraRed Capital Partners as the independent, management-owned investment platform in its current configuration.
Werner holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland and subsequently worked as a research fellow at Harvard Business School.
